Somebody rang me purporting to be from Sky’s customer support, but I haven’t had Sky for over a decade. I just kept asking how their little scam was working out for them, kept on with the same question until they finally gave up and hung up.

Like others have mentioned, I got a call from someone claiming to be from Tesco and Morrisons saying I'd won a £50 voucher. It was a foreign lady and she got annoyed when I started answering her questions with questions of my own! Definitely felt sketchy.

I got a call from a woman who sounded like she wasn’t a native English speaker, claiming she was from the Telephone Preference Service. Right away, I felt something was off. She wanted me to say my full name, address, and which phone company I use. It seemed like a scam just trying to get my personal info. I asked some questions to try and check if she was legit, but she dodged them and didn’t sound credible at all. I told her I wasn’t giving out any details and ended the call straightaway. I’ve also blocked the number so they can’t ring me again.

Oddly, he had my address wrong and said he’d try to track down my correct one and ring me again, but he never did. Got a call from this number earlier, but there was nobody there when I answered. They rang back around 7.30pm and claimed to be from Tesco, offering me a £50 voucher as a thank you for being a loyal customer. When I asked where they got my address from (which they said wrong, by the way), they said it was from when I registered my Tesco card. I then asked them to verify my Tesco card number and suddenly they freaked out and just hung up on me. Brilliant!
