Got a call claiming to be from HRME about legal issues but I never returned the call. Pretty clear this was a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

Today, I got a rather dodgy automated call from this number, claiming to be HMRC. They mentioned something about my name being linked to a fresh lawsuit because apparently, I've been dodging taxes like there's no tomorrow! It's quite astonishing, really, as that's entirely false. I'm convinced this is just a sneaky scam attempt.

Beware of 02039983767, it’s a total scam. I got a weird recorded message telling me to call Denise Grey - don’t ring that number! They’ll try to trick you into giving your bank details. If you google the number or the message about Denise Grey, you’ll find loads of stories from others who got scammed the same way. Stay clear of it!
