FRAUD ALERT! Just received a dodgy voicemail purporting to be from HMRC, asking me to return a call to some "Dennis Grey" from their office. Honestly, I couldn't help but chuckle at the part where they warned me to "brace for legal repercussions." Since when do HMRC officials issue threats like that over a recorded message? All their correspondence is normally via letter! Needless to say, I’ve added this number to my block list!

Just received a peculiar call purporting to be from HMRC, and it was delivered in a rather robotic American voice. The caller was quite menacing, insisting that I return the call or that my solicitor ought to get in touch with them. I've since blocked the number.

I've just received a phone call from this number, claiming to be HM Revenue and Customs. The automated message urged me to return the call immediately, stating it was Officer Dennis on the line. Oddly enough, he had an American accent! Naturally, I didn't bother getting back to them.
