I recently encountered a dodgy call that pretended to be from O2, promising a hefty 40% discount on my account. They proceeded to ask for a code, which, as O2 has rightly warned, shouldn't be disclosed to anyone- not even their own employees! The chap on the other end had a thick Indian accent and struggled quite a bit with the English language. A total red flag!
