Got a robotic call supposedly from HMRC, warned me if I didn’t reply they’d take me to court. The voice was all electronic and had this annoying American accent. Total nonsense, clearly a scam.

Had a chat with them for half an hour, quite shocked that their phone number actually picks up calls. I've already put in a report on a phishing site, so now I'm curious to find out how long that number stays active.

So this number rang me claiming to be from HMRC, some agent Bell from the Queens Bench Action team or something. They tried to scare me saying if I don’t sort out my government debt today, I’ll be taken to court. Thing is, I’ve never had any letter or official notice about this at all. They must think I’m daft trying to squeeze £1500 outta me, but I’m not falling for it. They kept ringing several times even after I told them to stop, really annoying and feels like harassment.

I got a voicemail from 02039977844, sounded like HMRC warning me to call them back or there'd be serious trouble. This happened on 26/11/20. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a robo call saying it was from HMRE, but def felt like a scam. Definitely sounded automated, no real human on the line. Watch out for these ones, they’re not legit.

i picked up and there was nothing but quiet on the other end. could’ve been a wrong number or something, but the call didn’t disconnect itself. i ended it after a little while.

Got a call from an automated voice saying it was HMRC, telling me to ring back quick because it was something super urgent. Total scam, just be careful!
