The person I spoke to had awful English and kept saying my sim wouldn’t work anymore unless they moved me to the Accounts department. I just ended the call but got several more calls after, probably about 5 or 6 times.

A woman with an 'Indian' accent called saying she was from Vodafone, offering me a 40% discount for my loyalty. Then she said she'd connect me to their accounts team and asked me to hold on... That's when I just ended the call. I mean, if Vodafone wanted to give me a discount, why would they need to transfer me to accounts? They already have all my billing info. Definitely a SCAM.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was ringing from Vodafone and that I could get a 40% discount for being a loyal customer. Then she said she’d connect me to their accounts team and told me to hold on... that’s when I just ended the call. It struck me as odd - if Vodafone really wanted to give me a discount, why would they need to pass me on to accounts when they already have all my billing info? Definitely a scam in my opinion. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

Got called like 6 times one after the other while I was stuck at the doctors feeling rubbish. Didn’t pick up cause it looked like a dodgy scam number.

They said they were from Sky and asked for my personal info to confirm my account, but as soon as I questioned them, they just ended the call.

Got a call claiming to be from Sky, and I said I couldn’t chat as I’m feeling rough, like you can tell. They rang me again an hour later, I cancelled the call about 4 times in a row before blocking them. The first thing they asked was if my WiFi was down… bit of a strange question, don’t you think?
