Got a call from someone pushing a package about govt support they said was "current" info on new property laws and stuff about wills and legatees. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call earlier today from this number. A nicely spoken guy said he was ringing from a health service and asked if I’d be interested in a pendant that could alert people if I fell ill suddenly. Told him I’m not suffering from any health issues so I wasn’t interested, and then he just ended the call.

This was the second time John got a call from the same person, this time going on about our driveway. I told him he’d already rang earlier and I wasn’t interested, but he didn’t stop chatting. So in the end, I just ended the call and blocked the number.

This number keeps ringing my phone every day but I never pick up. Since I can see the caller ID, I usually ignore calls like this. What's weird is it only rings twice before hanging up, so even if I wanted to answer, I don’t get enough time to react.

This number, 02039962495, called me claiming to be from a double glazing company, then tried again pretending to be a health professional. They asked me to confirm my details, definitely avoid pressing any buttons if they call you. Sounds like one of those phishing scams.

Got a call about upgrading double glazed windows. They wanted to talk about swapping out the old ones.

Got a call from a number that looked like it was with Telemarketing Pro, said it was about offering will writing and other estate planning stuff. They kept ringing back loads of times, pretty annoying.

A rather forceful bloke rang me up and inquired whether I owned the property. Foolishly, I admitted to it and then probed him about what he was peddling. He dodged the question completely, so I decided to cut the call.

Got a call from someone asking for a Sam about a change in ownership of the house. They seemed to assume I was the owner and wanted me to confirm it. I asked them who they thought they were chatting with, then they quickly said sorry and ended the call. Seems like they were trying to fish for info about the homeowner, probably as a lead-in to some dodgy sales pitch or something worse. Definitely a scam to watch out for.

This bloke called saying he needed me to verify my info so he could send some government news about things that might impact homeowners. When I said no, he just hung up straight away!

Avoid pressing any 'option' key at all costs! These scammers might use it to hack into your phone and cause even more trouble! Stay safe!

This number just rang me up, asking if I owned the house and mentioned some new law or something. I hung up straight away. Definitely feels like a scam to me. I’m registered with the TPS, so I’m not supposed to get calls like this.

Got a call earlier on from a polite sounding bloke, kinda like what others described here. He mentioned that someone from his team would ring back later for a chat, then he wanted me to check if I had a laptop, tablet or phone that could get texts so he could send details over. Said something about my home being in danger but didn’t even know my location! I just ended the call straight away.

This number just rang me up, what they started chatting about was estate planning. When I wanted to know where they got my contact from, they just dropped the call. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got a phone call from some ‘estate planning’ lot, saying something about new rules or laws. I tried to get him to repeat his name and explain properly what it was all about, but he just cut me off and ended the call. Bit odd if you ask me.

Some bloke called wondering if I was the homeowner and in the know about the latest law changes? When I told him I wasn’t the owner, he just said alright then and ended the call.

I was a bit wary when I picked up, the guy seemed alright though and said his name was Sam, working in estate planning out of London. He asked me a few questions but didn’t ask for any personal details. He never actually used my name, which felt odd. Then he tried to set up another call and asked me to confirm my name. That’s when I told him I wasn’t interested and thanked him before ending the call. Pretty clear he had no idea who I was, so I reckon it was just some sort of scam.

Got a random call from someone claiming to be from the Estate Planning Helpline. They started talking about some "new laws" and wanted to give me advice about my inheritance. Asked if I knew anything about how this might impact me. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I reckon this is a scam. The bloke on the phone was chatting about some changes in the law and said his company could protect me and my stuff since I need to move into a care home. I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up. I watch the news regularly and never heard anything about law changes. I get really suspicious when the call comes from an 0203 number.

Got a call from 02039962495, some bloke named "Sam" with a British accent talking about estate planning stuff. He kept saying stuff like "I understand you're the owner of the property"... but when I didn’t say anything back, the call just dropped. Feels like it was some kind of robot or AI doing the talking.

At around 9.20 on the 16th of April, this number rang me up. The person said, “Hi, I’m Sam, calling regarding estate planning and some changes in the law that might affect you as a property owner,” spoke very posh like. I replied, “What makes you think I own a home? You sound like a SCAM to me.” Then they just hung up on me! I was actually interested to hear more. Seems like a dodgy call that could fool people who aren’t careful. I’d definitely put it down as DANGEROUS.

Got a call around 10 in the morning on the 16th of April about some sort of planning. The person said something like “you must be the owner of the property” and I was a bit stunned, asked “which property?” and they stumbled a bit. They tried to keep going but I ended up just hanging up. Looking back, maybe I should’ve kept it going just for a laugh.

Got a call today from someone with a posh English accent, asking if I owned the house and warning me about some new owner registration problem. Felt like a total scam, all scare tactics really.
