Got a call from someone who said they were from "The Fonehouse in Bracknell, Berkshire, East London". Whole thing felt dodgy and fake. Best to steer clear of it.

Bit tricky to follow but it seemed like a call from abroad, probly an Indian call centre. The only words I caught were "medical" and "promotion," so I guess it's just another spam or scam call. I've blocked the number now.

Got a few calls like this from an Indian call centre lady saying "Hello sir, how are you". My usual reply is, "I don’t deal with scammers", and then I just hang up. These lot usually prey on older folks and people who might trust too quickly. Don’t get caught out! If you’re clueless about how these scams work, just check out some ‘scam baiting’ clips on YouTube. Keep in mind, if someone calls outta the blue, they’re basically after your cash!

Some woman with an accent was talking, but I couldn’t really catch what she was saying. The call kept cutting out, so I just hung up. This is the second call like this I’ve had today.

Got a call from someone pretending to be fonehouse trying to sell me cheap phones. I just kept chatting to them to kill some time, then asked if they did a d#### delivery. They gave me a mobile number and told me to ring after 6. Guess I’m gonna look into this now :)

Got a call from someone with a foreign accent claiming to be from a phone company. I asked how they managed to get my private number, but they just ignored the question. Kept trying to sell me stuff even after I asked them to remove me from their list multiple times. Asked to speak to their supervisor but no response. Told them again that my number is ex-directory and listed on the TPS. They just hung up on me. Blocked the number and have reported it to the TPS now.

Got a call from someone saying they were from fonehouse[###]. The bloke had a heavy accent and his English was pretty rough, sounded like he was calling from India. He tried to push some deal on me but said I could only pay by phone with a credit card, not online. I was about to give my info when my German shepherd actually nudged me away just in time. Don’t be daft like me, watch out - it’s definitely a scam!

Got a call “from phone the warehouse”, which is laughable cause they don’t even know the name properly - classic scam move.
