The caller, whose English was nearly incomprehensible, claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse and was keen to inform me about a new phone deal. He asked for my postcode to check if I could get good coverage. I decided to string him along for a bit... He mentioned they were situated in North Acton and even provided a 'customer service' number: 0208 1448159. After toying with him for a while, I finally said I thought his little scam was a load of rubbish.
