I’ve been getting a couple of calls every day from numbers starting with 0203 991 ****. I keep blocking them, but recently decided to mess around a bit. The caller, who spoke in barely understandable English, said they were from Carphone Warehouse and were offering me a new phone. They asked for my postcode to check if I could get coverage. I went along with it for a while out of curiosity. They said they were located in North Acton and gave me a ‘customer care’ number: 0208 1448159. After chatting with them for a bit, I finally told them I wasn’t buying their scam for a second. I let them know exactly what I thought... They fired back at me and then just hung up. Quite amusing really!

I've been getting loads of spam calls lately, it's so annoying! I don’t understand why it’s so “urgent” that someone needs to talk to me. Just now, I got part of a voicemail from someone claiming to call for a company, but before I could catch more, they hung up. Totally unacceptable!

Today ive had quite a few calls where as soon as I picked up the person on the other end just hung up straight away :/ really annoying! What a nightmare!

For the past few days, I kept getting calls loads from the numbers listed above, plus these ones as well: 02039918996, 02039918629, and 020245773637. They ring me quite a few times throughout the day.

here’s the thing, they ring you but never bother to leave a message on the answerphone. then when you try calling back, it just says the number can’t be reached. honestly, feels like a proper scam or something dodgy. i’ve gone ahead and blocked that number to be safe.
