Got a voicemail from this number and instantly suspected a scam. Nobody calls then leaves a weird msg like that, it’s just not normal. Don’t bother engaging with this number, it’s definitely dodgy!

I ignored the call, but got a voicemail from some robot voice threatening legal trouble if I didn’t ring them back. It was pretty intense. Now I never pick up or return calls from numbers I don’t recognise.

Definitely a scam. I dont have any dealings with hmre, and besides, they usually send important letters through the mail. The giveaway here is that it was a robotic message!

Got a call earlier from what sounded like a woman saying her name was Dennis Grey, claiming to be from HMRC. It was a recorded message. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

got a call supposedly from hmrc, the bloke called himself dennis grey and gave me a direct line 02039915387. he said i shouldn’t ignore the call or there’d be serious trouble. i’m gonna look into the number ending in 5387 and make a report. cheers for this site, defo found it menacing.

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, sounded like a dodgy automated message with a fake American accent telling me to “pay now or face the consequences.” Was honestly quite rubbish but I can see how it might fool some people. Proper scam attempt.
