Got three calls in a row from some robocall saying it was HMRC. Didn’t buy it, so I just blocked the number.

Got a call from these lot today, and foolishly called them back! Claimed to be from HMRC, threatening legal action over some tax dodging or fraud. They rattled off a bunch of laws I supposedly broke and said I had to fix it immediately or face court. They even used the number for the Royal Courts of Justice and rang me on that aswell to scare me into paying some kind of Escrow fee. I’ve reported the whole thing to Police Action Fraud.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, but the number showed as the Royal Courts of Justice - clearly trying to freak me out. When my bloke at work questioned them, the call just dropped straight away. They did leave a voicemail though, saying I’m accused of tax fraud or something. Total scam, mate.
