Got an automated call supposedly from HMRC about a "case" they said was filed against me at the county courthouse. Definitely a scam, so I reported it to the ICO.

Had loads of automated calls where no one picks up. Honestly, why do these lot get away without any fines or getting put behind bars? Such a waste!

Got calls from them three times today. Picked up the first one and it was some recorded message saying I owed HMRC money and that I'd be hauled before the "county court house." The voice had a weird accent, sounded nothing like English. Blocked the number but they rang twice more, even left a message after I blocked them, probably cause no one picked up. Definitely a scam.

I got a couple of calls this morning from some recorded voice talking about the county court. They kept insisting I ring them back on that number. Don’t know who it was but I’ve blocked it now.

Got two calls from this number, both robotic and definitely felt like a scam, so I've blocked it now.

I’ve gotten a few calls already today from 02039912471. This time an automated message came on claiming to be officer Ray Flect from HM Revenue & Customs. They said there’s a legal case against me and if I don’t call back on 2039913471, they’d send the matter to the local court. The robotic voice sounded American though and the message felt very generic - definitely a scam trying to scare people. Don’t fall for it!

Got two calls on 8th March, first one at 8:43am and then again at 10:01am. The initial call was just dead silence, no one talking. Then the second call had a recorded message saying I had a court case coming up at the local county court and I needed to ring 2039913471 to sort it out. Honestly sounds like one of those dodgy scams trying to trick people into giving away their bank info and cash. Be careful out there!

I've had calls twice from 02039913471, both times they left a message saying something about the county court house and asked me to call back on that same number. After seeing what others have said, I'm pretty sure it's a scam, so definitely don't ring them back!

I got a voicemail from what seemed like the county court, but it was a strange automated message in a fake American accent. They asked me to call them back. Weirdly, I received the exact same message twice back to back in no time.

At precisely 10:01 AM on 8th March 2021, I got a recorded message claiming that HM Revenue and Customs had initiated legal proceedings against me in my local County Court. The message instructed me to call a specific number to resolve the matter. It’s clearly a ruse attempting to extract money or banking information from unsuspecting victims.

So, I dialled the same number using a different phone, and a woman answered in what sounded like a really hectic call centre, with a shocking phone line quality, to boot. Initially, she was curious about when I’d been reached out to, claiming she needed that to identify the company. I held my ground, insisting she reveal who she represented first. After some back and forth, she finally admitted it was HMRC. I’ll definitely be flagging this number.

I had a similar experience where a lady picked up and repeatedly greeted me as though she couldn’t hear my responses. It felt like an awful connection, almost as if I was trying to speak in the middle of a bustling market in London. Definitely a ***SCAM***!
