These scams are a total nightmare, especially for elderly or confused people who might fall for them easy. It's like no one’s really looking into these things properly. If they weren’t making money, they wouldn’t keep at it, right? Someone has to step up and put a stop to this!

Got a call from someone claiming they were from HMRC threatening legal action if I didn’t pay up. Totally felt like a scam to me, so I didn’t reply. Turns out a mate had the same call yesterday - looks like a classic fraud attempt. Best to stay cautious with these.

Just got a message saying HMRC's blocked my National Insurance number, which is a bit worrying. Haven't a clue why they'd do that since I've been up to date with all my stuff.
