I recently received a call from a lady who had an Asian accent and struggled a bit with her English. She claimed to be representing EE and was attempting to offer me some sort of upgrade on my mobile plan. I wasn't interested at all, so I declined.

I encountered a dodgy O2 billing discount scheme and decided to string them along for a bit. I thought to myself, while I’m keeping them occupied on the phone, at least they won’t be able to con someone else out of their money. Quite a cheeky way to put a spanner in their works, if you ask me!

I received a phone call from someone who insisted they were representing O2. Honestly, if that were true, they would have contacted the account holder directly. It’s clearly a scam. This number has never reached out to me, the bill payer! I decided to block them straight away.

I received a call from an unfamiliar number with what sounded like an Asian accent. They rang once, but as I didn’t recognise the caller, I promptly disconnected. The same person tried again, asking, “Hello, can you hear me?” However, that was the extent of the chat before I ended the call once more.

Received a call from a mobile number flagged as possible spam. It was a cold call, and I opted not to answer. They didn't leave any message after going straight to voicemail.
