Got a call from someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, who started by asking what phone I currently use. Then, oddly enough, they tried to sell me the exact same model I already own! It made no sense at all (honestly, this actually happened!). They also wanted to know how much I paid for it and which network I was on. I didn’t share any info since I had no way of knowing if the caller was genuine. Then they offered me an iPhone 12 Pro Max for just £30 a month with unlimited everything - yeah right, I’m not falling for that. Just be wary because it might be a scam (not totally sure myself) and someone could accidentally give out their bank details if they’re not careful.
