This was clearly a dodgy call. Someone rang my work line saying they were from the UK Economic Development office - whatever that is - and then started asking if we needed any office space. When I asked how they got my number, the call just dropped. The caller sounded like she had an East Asian accent. From what I’ve read in earlier reviews, this number hasn’t been used for quite some time, so it seems like they’re trying again now.

Absolutely a dodgy caller! Just received a buzz on my work phone from someone purporting to be with the UK Economic Development office-who even are they?! They then proceeded to ask if we still required office space. When I pressed for details on how they obtained my number, the line went dead. The woman had an accent that sounded East Asian. Interestingly, from earlier remarks, it seems this number had been silent for a while-seems like they've resurfaced with a fresh ploy.

Most certainly a fraudulent caller! They rang my work phone, asserting they were from the UK Economic Development office (whatever that is!). Curiously, they proceeded to inquire whether we were still hunting for office premises. When I prodded them about how they obtained my number, they abruptly ended the call. The woman had an accent that seemed East Asian. I've noted from earlier remarks that this dodgy number hasn’t appeared on the radar for a few months, which suggests they’ve resurfaced for yet another go at tricking people.

Early this morning about 7:05 on a Saturday, a lady named Lisa rang me claiming to be from Microsoft. We were still fast asleep in bed. Just the day before, two separate friends from different places had been taken into hospital urgently, so a call at that hour really unsettled us. My other half got really annoyed and loudly told her to bugger off. I really wish the authorities could do something to block these annoying and maybe even risky calls.

I got a call from a lady who said she was with Microsoft, telling me my PC was hacked. She wanted me to let her in remotely to sort it out. I reckon it's some scam, probably trying to get to my bank details. Nope, I’m not letting her anywhere near my computer. She's rung me like three times this last week already.

Had this ridiculous call from some Indian scammers pretending to be from Microsoft, ringing me at 7:24 in the morning! I work night shifts and only got to sleep around 6am. I asked the lady with the strong Indian accent why Microsoft would even be watching my PC, why they thought it necessary to call me, and how on earth they connected my phone number to my IP address. She was totally stumped and couldn’t give me the IP details they claimed were hacked. Then she just hung up, cursing!

Got a call from a woman speaking with an Asian accent claiming she was from Microsoft saying someone was using my computer without permission. I told her my son-in-law is a tech whiz and always sorts out any problems I have. Then I asked her what she really wanted. She told me to go to my computer right away. I just laughed and said this sounds like a scam and it’s not right to do this. She started shouting that I was mistaken. I told her to move on and try someone else because I wasn’t falling for it. So, I received a call purportedly from Microsoft, but it first came through on an 0114 number. I thought better of it and cut the call short. Moments later, they tried again using this new number. My husband received a rather unpleasant call from this number. The person on the other end was incredibly rude and verbally aggressive. We’re well aware that it’s a scam, but it’s utterly unnecessary to resort to such abusive language. It’s quite distressing to encounter such threats.

Got a call from someone claiming to be "Microsoft" saying my computer had issues, and they gave me a licence number. When I searched that number online, it was clear it’s linked to scams. I told their "manager" about it, and instead of backing down, he asked if I thought I was smart, bragged about being a scammer, and said he had loads of my personal info. Then he warned me I wouldn’t know how he planned to use it. Definitely a dodgy call.

On 24/02/22, I got a call from this number. A woman with an Indian accent claimed she was calling from Microsoft, saying my computer was being hacked. She said she'd emailed me nearly 100 times but since I hadn’t responded, she had to call me directly. I told her I didn’t own a computer (which wasn’t true), and then she insisted on speaking urgently to whoever handles the computer. When I called her out for not being from Microsoft, she flipped out, started calling me crazy and even said she hoped I died a horrible death before hanging up on me.

Claimed to be from the Microsoft tech support team. I told him to cut out the nonsense and find a legitimate job. He insisted he was indeed employed. That’s when I decided to hang up on him.

Got a call from this number a while back, with someone claiming to be from Microsoft. I wasn’t convinced at all. Today it rang again but I just let it go to voicemail. I don’t think the lady calling knew I wasn’t picking up though. Once you spot that number, best just to leave it and not bother answering.

Proper frustrating that. Bet they’re out there tricking folks about Microsoft stuff on their PCs. Had some bloke with an Asian accent accuse me of lying which really wound me up. Honestly, hope they all catch Covid and just stay away from me for at least ten days!

This number kept ringing up my landline, even tho the ringer’s switched off and I only check it like once a week. Twice they left creepy “heavy breathing” voicemails too. Proper weird.

Some bloke claimed he was from Microsoft, right? I called him out on it and he totally lost it. When I said I don’t even own a computer, he just snapped and told me to "go buy a bloody computer". Proper rude!

Got a call earlier today from this number claiming to be Microsoft. The woman on the other end had a clear Asian accent and seemed to know my full name and address. I asked where she was calling from, and she said somewhere in Reading. I had a bit of fun winding her up before I got annoyed and ended the call. Pretty sure it's just another Microsoft-related scam from 02039894310!

Just got a ring from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. The woman said her name was Jennifer, but her English was really bad and she had a strong Asian accent - definitely didn’t sound like a Jennifer. She stuck rigidly to a script and when I told her I wasn’t interested and she wasn’t from Microsoft, she just kept repeating herself even as I ended the call. Total scam for sure. I bet if I’d stayed on the line, they’d have tried to get into my computer.

02039894310 kept ringing but I ignored it since I didn’t know the number. Later, I got a voicemail with just some random noises in the background - no proper message at all. From what I’ve read here, this looks like just another scam call. They’ve been calling me almost every day, but I only decided to say something about it now. I’ve put them on the block list.

Blimey, these blokes give me a bell daily without fail! It’s utterly maddening-I just hit that “end call” button repeatedly! What on earth is happening in this place?

This morning, my phone rang and I answered it to a chap claiming to be from Microsoft, stating there was an issue with my system. I responded, rather truthfully, that I don’t own a computer, but he insisted he could see that I was definitely using one. He then urged me to hop onto my computer so he could guide me through the fix. At that point, I mentioned I’d rather have my son handle it, which seemed to ruffle his feathers a bit. Not long after, I decided to end the call.

On the morning of 16th Feb around 11, this determined guy with an Asian accent rang up, insisting I get on my computer. I acted like I was swamped and told him it wasn’t a good time, all the while quietly turning around and pulling the plug on my PC. I kept him on the line, making small talk about the weather and stuff, which seemed to annoy him since he kept telling me to log on. Eventually, he gave up and ended the call.

Some bloke named Henry claimed to be from Microsoft and mentioned me by name, saying he was calling about my laptop or computer. I told him I didn’t own either, and he said he’d remove me from their list and block them. When I asked how he planned on doing that, he said someone else was using my devices in my name! Bit fishy if you ask me. Smells like a scam to me.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be Michael at Microsoft saying my computer was hacked. When I said I didn’t need any assistance, he suddenly started shouting my full name and address. He got proper annoyed and kept insisting I hand over personal info. I just kept talking nonsense to stop him from getting a word in edgeways. Then he swore at me before hanging up. Pure rubbish. I can see how someone who's not familiar with these scams might get freaked out by this sort of tactic.

Got loads of calls today from someone claiming to be Microsoft saying my PC was hacked multiple times. I told them I wasn’t buying it and kept hanging up on them. They kept ringing back, getting louder each time and threatening to cancel my Microsoft licence. Even after I put the phone down, they kept calling from different numbers. Proper annoying!

Some guy with an Indian accent called asking for my dad then my mum. Then the call just dropped and some weird noise came through. No way I’m picking up again. I woke up just as my phone was ringing at 7.10 in the morning, but I had to fumble around for my glasses so I could see who it was. By the time I checked, they had already hung up and left no message. I’m glad I didn’t answer - I later found out it was a Microsoft scam. Honestly, I enjoy telling those scammers off when they waste my time trying to convince me to install some software to fix a fake issue that doesn't exist.
