Someone calling from this number pretended to be from “Defi” and gave the name Michael Burns. When I asked where he was based, he said Bloomberg office on Victoria Street, London. He told me that if I reactivated my account, he could recover my money. After I paid him £215 as a fee, he mentioned that an agent would get in touch to help with the transfer. Instead, I ended up losing about £4,000 in total. This isn’t the first time either, just the latest.
