The call quality was terrible, and I hung up because I’m not about to waste time with a company that sounds so unprofessional. I couldn’t even tell who it was - the voice kept cutting out badly.

Got a call from some bloke called Ranjit, said he was Robert in Romford, working for O2 or summat. He was going on about sending me a free iPhone 12 Pro Max if I just gave him my bank details. I played along for quite a while, making him go over the deal, tariffs, and all the different phones he had. After about 20 minutes, I finally told him I was pretty chuffed with my old Nokia 3210 and didn’t want any of those fancy new phones. He sounded proper confused!
