I've given up on investigating calls from "London" altogether; it's now a guaranteed block for me.

I mistakenly rang one back only to be met with a message saying "this number is unrecognised" - clearly, this bunch of con artists (who else would resort to using phoney numbers?) are spoofing, which explains why none of them are reused.

I'm sharing this across various "number verification" platforms to warn others. I’d also like to appeal to any legitimate callers from London: perhaps consider sending a text outlining your reason for your call, as I can foresee many London numbers facing the brunt of being blocked en masse.

I keep getting calls from 0203986 and each time they ring my phone, they only show the last 4 digits, which is really frustrating coz I can't block them properly. Whenever I pick up, normally they just hang up, but once it was different - I heard some weird breathing noises or something on the line.
