The person on the phone already had my name and address, which was a bit off. When I asked what the call was about, they said it was for a survey on loft insulation that they wanted to do over the phone. I don’t remember giving any company info about my loft, so I just said no thanks to the survey nicely.

They ring up so often now I’ve totally stopped being polite. It’s always about a “Mr Bliss”. At first, I’d calmly tell them they’ve got the wrong number and ask them to take me off their list. But after 20 or 30 calls, sometimes several in one week, I’m full on hurling insults at whoever answers. Honestly, shouting at them has become a weird kind of stress relief for me. But seriously, this lot are clearly profiting from us picking up these bogus calls. Well done to the phone companies and regulators for letting these scammers get away with it.
