I received a call from a chap with a strong Indian accent, claiming to represent an 'internet security company'. He tried to convince me that my router had been compromised and that there was some sort of 'fraudulent activity' happening. His offer? To 'fix' my router for me. Curious, I inquired about the specific IP address where they noticed this supposed traffic. That was the moment he decided to end the call abruptly. Quite the dodgy scenario, if you ask me!

I said unless I’ve reported anything first, I don’t want them to mess with anything or call back. They claimed if I refused, they might disconnect my broadband. I told them to go ahead and made it clear not to contact me again.

I received a rather unusual call today around 10:40 in the morning from someone claiming to be with BT. To be sure, I contacted Amazon customer services and they confirmed that the call did not originate from them. This provides further evidence that it was indeed a scam call.

They said they were from the TPS thing that stops annoying calls. Rang me a few times. Dunno if it was a scam or what but I just ended the call cos it seemed a bit dodgy. They called my mobile and actually told me my landline number and where I live.

Some lady called my mum who’s elderly and started hassling her for £79.99 for Amazon Prime, saying she’d been using it. But my mum hasn’t got Amazon Prime at all! The woman then went on asking if my mum had the internet or one of those Alexa things. It wasn’t until my mum mentioned that a family member works at Amazon and had checked these dodgy calls asking for money are scams, that the woman hung up! Luckily, mum quickly dialled 1471 to grab the number so I can report it.

Got a call from a woman saying she was from Sky about my internet, asking loads of questions. Then she passed me to someone she said was her supervisor, who asked me what I wanted, which confused me cause they were the ones calling me. Next thing, he started shouting, "you need a b l a c k c o c k you f u c k i n g b i t c h." Seriously, no joke, it was vile! I managed to record the whole thing on video!!!
