4 yearsI got a call from someone who said his name was Moses Rufus, but he hesitated before saying it, so I’m pretty sure it was fake. He asked about the status of our planning applications for some building projects. When I told him I needed to check and call back, he refused to give me an email and only gave his phone number. Feeling a bit iffy, I tried ringing the number later - it rang a couple of times then just dropped. Not sure what the angle was, but it definitely felt dodgy to me.Moses Rufus4 yearsSome bloke rang me saying his name was Moses Rufus, but he hesitated a lot when I asked, so I'm certain it's a made-up name. He wanted to find out what stage my company's construction planning applications were at. I told him I’d have to check and get back to him, but when I asked for an email, he only gave me that phone number. Afterwards, I tried calling it back, and it just rang twice then hung up. Doesn’t sit right with me at all - pretty sure it’s some kind of scam going on.Moses Rufus4 yearsI got a call that seemed to come from abroad. The person claimed to be from BT and mentioned there were some problems with the broadband in my vicinity. As soon as I informed them I use Sky Broadband, they just hung up on me.BTSky Broadband4 yearsGot a call warning about a fake virus or trojan, trying to scare me into paying up.
