So this was supposedly Klana. They messaged me a code on WhatsApp saying there was an attempt to log in from a different city. Then they called sounding quite legit, no wonder people fall for it. I told them I’d get in touch with Klana directly and refused to share the code. When I checked with Klana myself, they said no one had phoned me and nothing unusual going on. Really glad I didn’t get caught out.

It’s pretty clear this is some kinda dodgy investment call - best just hang up right away.

I’m pretty sure this was some kind of investment scam. A bloke called 'Jason' claimed one of his mates had reached out to me last year. When I asked what the call was about, he started rattling off stuff super quickly, like he was reading from a script, and honestly I couldn’t catch half of it. Luckily, the call got dropped before it went any further.

Got a call from this young lady claiming she was offering some kind of art investment deal, sounded dodgy to me. Turned out to be one of those scams where they try to rope you into fake investments. Definitely not something to trust.

Picked up the phone, and as soon as I did, they cut me off straight away. I reckon they’re just trying to get their number of answered calls up or something. It’s so annoying!

Got a call from 0203 978 6737 earlier. They kept asking loads of questions, but I told them I’m not interested in cold calls and ended the chat. Definitely not on the TPS list. Seems like some kind of art investment scam to me.

Somebody rang me up trying to get me to put money into some fancy artwork investment!

I didn't pick up straight away and could hear loads of noise behind the voice - maybe a call centre? They ended the call before I could even say anything. I called 1471 afterwards to check the number, but it just told me to leave a message or press # for an operator. Then, a couple minutes later, the same number called again. This time I managed to answer, but they just hung up on me. Pretty certain it’s a scam. I’ve gotten a few calls like this from that number before. Scam artists like this should really be put behind bars.

Over the past couple of days, I've gotten three calls from what I think was Hamilton Smith, but the numbers kept changing. Every time, they used the exact same spiel, acting all friendly and making a point of using my first name, trying to get me to invest in some commodity. Quite persistent, but all a bit suspicious.

Got a caller on the blower pushing some dodgy investment scheme, sounded like a classic boiler room scam. Kept going on and on, so in the end I just hung up on them.

This is the third time in just a few days I’ve had a call from these jokers. Some bloke who tried to sound all friendly and upbeat, even calling me by my first name. When I asked where he got my number, he said it was on their database. I told him to wipe it from there immediately and told him his attitude was well out of order before hanging up. Honestly, these guys should be looked into by the cops. Complete and utter scam - 100%!

On 3rd June 2024, I got a call from these guys. They were really pushy, sounded like they were just reading off a script. The bloke was trying to get me to put money into Fine Art. I told him straight up I ain’t got any cash to put in. He kept going anyway with his spiel, so I cut him off and repeated that I had no money to invest, then weirdly thanked him before hanging up quick, didn’t even wanna hear more. Bit worrying though, he actually knew my first name and the first part of my address. Should I be worried about that?

Got called twice from this number today. First time they just hung up when I picked up, second time they said they were from Hamilton Collections and insisted we’d talked about some 'final art' before - which I know nothing about, art isn’t really my thing. Like everyone else here, I got a call from a woman offering me a chance to put money into fine arts. I told her I wasn’t into fine arts and didn’t have extra cash anyway. Despite that, she kept going on, so I ended up just cutting the call. Seems like a total scam to me.

This bloke wouldnt quit, kept pushing me to buy shares or put money into some investment. He even called me by the wrong first name, but I didnt bother correcting him. I mentioned I preferred to spend my cash now rather than saving it up for later. Figured saying I had a financial advisor would stop him dead in his tracks, but nope, just made him push even harder. Eventually I had to be firm and said I wasnt interested, then I hung up.

Got a call from Hamilton Smith Collections about putting money into fine art. The woman on the phone mentioned that an expert might ring back to go over any queries I have. They said they’d also post me a brochure. I said no to giving my email - let 'em cover the cost of sending it by post. Won’t be picking up if that expert calls. This was on 27th Feb ‘24 at around 1.43pm.

Like some of the others have said, the bloke said he had chatted to me before about putting money into fine art. He was quite pushy but spoke well, asking exactly what sort of things I was hoping to invest in. I told him I wasn’t really clued up on art but he said they’d guide me through it. Then he asked if I had over £5000 ready to invest. I tried to cut it short and told him just to post me some details. He promised a leaflet would be on its way, though I’m not getting my hopes up.

I got a call from 02039786737, which seems to belong to Hamilton Smith Collections, some art dealers based in London. The bloke on the phone, called Paul, said it was about some paperwork for my wife, but wouldn't explain what it was. My wife has never had anything to do with them before. Bit odd for a company like that to be ringing out of the blue. Looks like they’re just trying to push expensive paintings, probably telling people to invest in them or something.
