Just received two calls from 02039786157, but unfortunately, I was unable to pick up. After some quick digging on this site, it turns out it's a dodgy number. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it!

 In the past fortnight, I've received a spate of calls from numbers that scream scam. Each time, I’ve mentioned that I was calling from a police station, but the phone gets cut off immediately. One chap even claimed to be affiliated with the government, claiming he wanted to discuss my boiler if it was older than a decade. I promptly informed him that I was actually in a government building - a police station, no less - and that his number was being monitored for fraudulent activity. Predictably, the line went silent again. These calls have come through on both my mobile and my landline.

I just had a phone call from this number claiming they could slash my monthly bill by 30%. They suggested I click on a link they’d send over and mentioned that I’d need to enter the password "liverpool" to set up a new account. It's blatantly a scam, no doubt about it.

I received a rather dodgy phone call today from a chap with a strong Indian accent. He said he was calling from O2, but I've had my fair share of encounters with these sorts before. Beware of this number, it's definitely a scam! I suggest you hang up straight away and block it. They posed as a representative from O2, claiming they could upgrade my monthly plan. Next thing I knew, my O2 account was compromised - they even managed to reset my email password! I contacted O2 directly, and they confirmed it was a fraudulent call. They explained that these scammers often include pricey items in bundles to gain access to your banking details.

Make sure to report and block this number immediately!

I got a call from a really annoying woman who kept going on about signing up for this nectar car insurance or protection thing. Honestly, I had no clue what she was even talking about - had to keep asking her to repeat herself because she was so hard to understand. In the end, I told her it all sounded like a dodgy scam and just hung up. I bet this is just the beginning of loads more of these irritating calls. I really wish there was a proper way to stop these lot ringing me at all. Properly frustrating.
