So this bloke rings me up saying I could have a free call out service if I felt unwell. Sounds good right? But then he mentions the gadget comes with a £29.99 monthly fee. I wasn’t having any of it and hung up. He rang me back, seemed annoyed, obviously trying to get my bank info. They need to be reported, seriously. No way they’re giving anything for free or charging that much and legit. Better get these scams sorted.

Got a call earlier today claiming it was about some nuisance calls I’d supposedly made. Then they started going on about my phone bill’s Direct Debit being wrong. That’s when it clicked it was a scam since my phone company has never mentioned any issues and I’ve had it set up fine for years. The person on the line had a really thick East Asian accent which made it pretty tricky to follow what they were saying.

The caller had a male Indian accent and claimed to be from my phone provider, talking about some kind of upgrade - instantly raised my suspicions.
