I told him no and ended the call. Moments later, I was rung by 03304440716 - a recorded woman’s voice said it was from PERFECT BENEFITS before hanging up. Curious, I called back and the same message played, asking me to leave my name and email to get a response. Obviously, I didn’t. This isn’t the first time I’ve had these calls either.

I couldn't pick up the phone so I have no clue who it was, except someone named "Simeon" apparently. There wasn’t any voicemail or anything, but based on what I've dealt with lately, I'm guessing it might have been one of those scams about appliance repair plans. From my own experience, when your device breaks down and you ring the provided number, you often get no reply but are told to drop a message that’ll be dealt with "straight away". If you wait a day and ring again, still no luck. Eventually you come to the realisation that the prepaid two months’ fee you handed over has vanished without a trace.
