I’ve already blocked this number along with three other ones, but today I saw a missed call from 020 3970 2187 (didn’t pick up). They left an automated message on my voicemail saying something about going to court and facing the consequences if they don’t get a response from me or my lawyer (which I don’t have). Obviously, I’ve blocked them again, but I’m pretty sure they’ll keep ringing from similar numbers.

I’ve blocked that number along with three others, but today I got another call from 020 3970 2187. Didn’t pick up. They left a message with some robot voice saying if I or my solicitor (which I don’t have) didn’t get back to them, I’d have to face court and some sort of consequences. Blocked it straight away again but reckon they’ll ring back from a similar number soon enough.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, really scary stuff. They kept threatening me with jail time over some supposed debt and even told me to find a lawyer. Same old nonsense. Honestly had me shaking and it took a good while for my heart to settle again. Can’t someone do something about these idiots before they cause serious harm?

I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, accusing me of intentionally dodging their calls and committing tax fraud, saying I’m facing six months inside. When I snapped a bit, the bloke told me to talk to him like a normal person. Honestly, they’re not normal people, they’re just scammers.

So yesterday I got a call from some number I didn’t recognise and it was one of those HMRC scams, but the person had an American accent and was trying to scare me with stuff about solicitors and urgent deadlines. I didn’t pick up, blocked that number straight away. Now they've called me again from a different number, which I’ve blocked too. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC, total scam. I heard HMRC never rings you from a London number. The weird thing is, my phone number's fairly new, so I wanna track down which company gave my details out.

Don't ever pick up or ring back if it's a HMRC scam. If you do call them back, just mess them about and tell them to shove off.

Got a missed call earlier and the voicemail claimed to be from HMRC, saying I owed tax. Pretty obvious it was a scam though, especially since the person had an American accent! I work in tax myself and know for sure I don’t owe a penny. Just ignored the message and blocked the number straight away.
