Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Migrations, asking if we still had copper wiring at our place that might be impacted by some planned work. They didn’t want to give much info though. When I checked with actual BT support, they said no, that number wasn’t theirs and no technician by that name was assigned. The guy called himself "Jeff Smych" (which honestly sounds dodgy, but he did spell it out for me). He seemed polite enough, but the story just didn’t make sense.

Got a call from Jess at BT on 0203 9700425 about some maintenance thing they said was set for 23rd December. Honestly, I had no clue what they were on about. I told them to find someone else who might know and then just ended the call.

I got a call from someone saying they were from BT Maintenance, asking stuff about my phone line. The person sounded pretty rude and kept pushing for my details. When I told them I wasn’t going to give any info, they just ended the call.

Got a call from some American lady pretending to be HMRC, saying I or my solicitor should ring them back or there'd be trouble. Honestly, that's nothing like how proper HMRC would speak, totally fake!

02039700425 - Got a call from a woman with an American accent saying she was from HMRC. She told me I needed to ring them straight away or get a lawyer involved. I’m not falling for that at all! Looks like a total scam to me. Last I heard, HMRC sends letters, not these weird automated calls.

Got a call from some American woman pretending to be from HMRC, saying it was urgent and I had to ring her back straight away. She gave out some division name and a phone number that looked dodgy, probably a premium rate. Total scam, no doubt about it.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were Officer Dennis Gray. They said I shouldn’t ignore the message and that I need to ring back. They also mentioned something about getting a solicitor involved if I don’t return the call. Said I’d face legal trouble if I don’t respond. Bit worrying, to be honest.

Got a dodgy call supposedly from HMRC, sounding off with a message about some officer Dennis Grey (spelt differently though!). What made it worse was the caller had a strong American accent and told me to ring a lawyer straight away, saying it was urgent and the call was limited. Total nonsense!

I got two calls from someone saying they were Dennis Gray from HMRC, but it was just an automated message both times. Pretty sure it was a scam.
