Got a call from an Asian woman who somehow already knew my name. She was asking about my washing, dddds or something like that. I tried ringing back but there was no reply, just silence. I ended up on hold for ages and got fed up, so I hung up after about 5 minutes.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent asking for the owner of the business. They said they were from United Experts and wanted to talk about business loans. I told them to buzz off. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I picked up and after a brief pause, a man with an accent asked if he was talking to the person in charge of the business. I asked who he was trying to reach, and he just said the business owner again. I told him we don’t take unsolicited calls here, and unless he could give me a specific name, I couldn't connect him. That’s when he just hung up.
