Just had the misfortune of receiving a rather aggressive call from a salesman who clearly had no intention of letting me off lightly. I attempted to decline his offer in a courteous manner, but he took exception to that and turned downright rude-patronising, to boot-before abruptly ending the call. Feeling a bit miffed, I tried to ring back to find out which company he represented and to escalate my concerns to his supervisor. However, he claimed he was at his desk and the top dog in charge. Quite the unpleasant chap, he was, pressing for a staggering £140.00 as though I was made of money!
