Got a call from someone claiming I’d won a lottery, but all they knew was my address. Told them to stop calling.

A guy with an Asian accent called me, and when I asked for my personal info, he couldn’t really give me much. He just ended up telling me a surname and an address. I told him, “If you know who’s at that address, you should be able to answer a simple question about me.” I even warned him that if I put his number into an online search, it’d probably label him as a scammer. Honestly, people should be firm with these callers and ask for detailed info about themselves. If they can’t provide it, they clearly don’t have legit access to your details like proper companies do.

I got a call from someone saying they were with the National Lottery. I didn’t bother talking, just ended the call straight away. I’ll hold off on checking anything until I see what others say about it first.
