Since i do a lot of home work, i had two phone lines. about a month ago i cancelled my landline at home so now only get calls on my business number. today some bloke rang up asking for my wife, saying she entered some online euro millions draw (which she definitely did not!). the strange thing is this number isnt even in her name, nor mine, it’s under some business name. she’s only ever shared the number with our doctor, a repair company from currrys for a tumble dryer, and a firm that installed our stairlift. how on earth are these scammers getting hold of her name like that?
