Received a phone call at 11:58 on the 7th of May, 2019. I could barely decipher what the caller was saying regarding her company, though she had a slight Afro-Caribbean lilt to her voice. To my surprise, she informed me that I'd supposedly won tickets for the Euro lottery as a result of participating in a Sainsbury's online survey. Intriguingly, she had several of my personal details on hand, which she reeled off. Alongside £10 worth of free lottery selections, I was told that due to my lack of previous winnings, I’d be given £75 worth of tickets weekly-though the duration of this "offer" was rather vague. I was promised a follow-up email to confirm everything. Then came the bizarre request for me to choose my five numbers right there on the phone. When I suggested replying via email instead, the woman insisted that it had to be done during the call. Feeling increasingly uncomfortable, I expressed my discontent with the whole situation and proposed that whichever prize I supposedly had should go to a charity. Abruptly, the line went dead. The caller's tone was far from friendly, and she seemed to be growing more impatient by the second. I vaguely recall completing a survey ages ago, but I thought the prize was meant to be Nectar points, not this lottery nonsense. Frankly, I suspect this was nothing more than a scam.

I kept getting calls from this number like 5 or 6 times every day. Finally picked up after a couple of days, and they were telling me I’d won some kind of lottery and then asked for my bank info! Didn’t hang about, just blocked them straight away!

I’m absolutely fed up with receiving calls from this number, only for them to just hang up! It’s beyond irritating.

For the past few days, I’ve been getting calls from this number. I tried ringing back once, but no one answered. Then another day, they phoned me from a different number, which I answered thinking it might be the interview I’m expecting. But the person on the line asked for my card info, so I ended the call and blocked them straight away. I’d recommend blocking this number too - it feels quite dodgy.

Been getting loads of calls from different 020 numbers lately, even though I never pick up. Someone mentioned it's linked to a lottery scam or something. I've blocked several already, bit of hassle but worth it. Would definitely recommend blocking these numbers!

I found it rather suspicious when they mentioned my nickname instead of my full name. It was a bit off, to be honest. They hung up the moment they greeted me with "don," which left me feeling quite uneasy. How on earth could they know my name? It all seemed a bit too dodgy for my liking.

Oh no, I just gave them all my info, what should I do now?

I just learned that someone claimed I won a Samsung Galaxy S9 and my name was chosen in a raffle. Please, don’t be fooled by these con artists! They’re truly a threat!

Really annoying caller! This number keeps ringing me up non-stop, even tho I’ve blocked it on my phone. It jumps back and forth between my mobile and landline all the time.

I never picked up this number cause I didn’t recognise it and sometimes I didn’t even notice my phone ringing. After reading what others said here, I’ve just blocked it now. This caller was relentless, ringing me about 10 times a day! Absolutely no clue how they got hold of my number either!!!

Utter rubbish, that call was pointless!

I can't say who was calling, but I put a block on the number a while back. Looks like now whoever it belongs to is trying to get in touch again.
