Got a call from 02039664622 saying I’d won a trip to New York, which is odd since I never signed up for any contest. Ended up just hanging up.

Just had some muppet on the line who barely spoke any English, telling me I’d won EuroMillions plus some tickets for a London show. I just put my phone down on the table and she kept rambling on for like three minutes. Eventually she twigged after me saying hello over and over. This week alone, I've had like five calls all like this rubbish. How come these scammers aren't blocked from calling us? Honestly, so fed up with this nonsense.

I got a call about the EuroMillions claiming I had an opportunity to enter the lottery by choosing five numbers. After that, they asked for my bank info. It seemed really dodgy, so if you get a call like this, make sure to block the number straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming it was a lottery syndicate. They went on reading out my name and gave an address, but it definitely wasn’t my place. When they asked for more personal info, I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 020 3966 4622 saying I’d won a Samsung Galaxy S10 competition. Don’t even like Samsung, so thought it sounded dodgy. Messed around a bit, asked to speak to myself but told them I was my own assistant! Probably gonna keep winding them up for a bit longer. Honestly, just ignore it.

This number rang me up claiming I’d won 10 free tickets on the EuroMillions. They asked to check my info and I went along with it, but when they wanted my card details I told them I didn’t have it to hand. They kept pushing me to get it but I just said there was no way I could right then. After that, the person said alright, have a good day and ended the call.

Somebody called saying they were from Costa, but I’m not really into coffee and I’m sure I didn’t sign up for any of their contests. I let her chat for a bit, then asked what the call was about properly - she hung up right away after that.

Someone called me saying I’d won 10 Euromillions lines this Friday from a comp I entered with Asda. They kept mentioning signing me up to some syndicate and already had my details, but then insisted they needed my date of birth plus my bank sort code and account number for “verification”. They were really pushy about it. I pretended to go along with it until they asked for my bank details, then told them I’d give it after work and hung up. They phoned back today and started the whole spiel all over again like nothing happened.

This number called me claiming I had won some sort of contest. They really went on about me being a lucky winner, but I wasn’t having any of it. Pretty sure it’s just another one of those dodgy scams.

If you see that Brexit survey popping up at the top of news sites asking you to join in a draw for £1000 worth of shopping vouchers, don’t bother filling it out. That’s just how they grab your phone number! Avoid it if you don’t want your info passed around.

I got a call from someone saying I had won Tesco Vouchers in a contest I supposedly entered. They kept going on about having 10 Euro Millions lines in my name. I listened for a bit but got fed up after a few minutes and just ended the call. Then, they called me back from a number very much like the first one, so I ended up blocking both.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying my computer was infected with a virus. They promised to help me fix it, but instead, they messed up my browser big time. It locked up and wouldn’t work right at all. This isn’t the first time either - similar things have happened a few times in the past. Usually, just closing Firefox and restarting the computer sorts it, but this time I’m proper annoyed with it all. Nothing else on my PC shows any issues, so I think they’re just trying to scam.
