I signed up for Angoville but this isn't the phone number I got told to call back. Honestly, it's left me a bit puzzled.

I got a call from Angloville, they teach English overseas I think, and overall it felt harmless. But once you put your details on one of their forms, expect to be bombarded with calls. Seriously nonstop ringing. It’s such a poor way to get people interested. Even if you decline the call, they don’t give up and just keep calling again and again. Honestly thinking about blocking the number because it’s just getting way too annoying now.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, really irritating.

I got a call from Angloville, they’re basically English folks abroad so all seemed fine. But once you sign up or show any interest on a form, they keep ringing you constantly. It’s like they never stop! Definitely not a great way to approach customers or try to get people involved. Even if you reject the call, they just call back again straight away. Annoying as hell, thinking about blocking the number now cause it’s getting way too much.

No voicemail left, but from what I gathered in the message, the call sounds fine. I did just apply to volunteer overseas where I’d be using my English skills, so maybe it’s connected to that.

I got a call from this number a while back, turns out it’s from a real company that does English immersion courses. They wouldn't ring unless you’ve signed up to volunteer as an English speaker in one of their schemes. It’s alright to pick up, no dodgy stuff here.

Honestly, it's for real. I volunteer with Angloville, a group that sends native English speakers out to Europe to help people learn to speak English better. So if you get a call from them, even if the accent sounds odd, it’s not some annoying scam. At least from my experience, it’s all above board.
