I got a call from someone saying there was a report about me being in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. I told her that wasn’t true at all. Then she just said alright, we’ll take your number off our list.

i usually ignore calls from numbers starting with 0203 and just block them. almost all of them seem to be scams and the few that aren't i really don't want to deal with anyway.

They call at all sorts of times, never when I’m free to answer properly. When I did manage to pick up, it was just some recorded message telling me how to opt out by sending an email to a hotmail address - but it didn’t even say the full email properly. Very frustrating!
