Got a call from a woman claiming I'd won something from an Asda competition. She went on about my name, where I live, and my email, saying I’d bagged a £500 Amazon voucher. Then she said I’d got 10 lottery tickets plus some for a millionaires lottery costing £39 a month but if I don’t win, I’d get my money back. Sounded fishy to me so I told them I wasn’t interested and they just hung up. If it seems too good to be true, chances are it’s a bloody scam, that’s my rule of thumb.

Got a call after joining some Cola promo, they said my info was in and that I’d supposedly “won” 10 chances for the Euromillions on 21st Jan. The bloke then went on about some small print and £39 a MONTH for lottery subs. I cut him off, said there was no way that was mentioned, then told the tosser where to stick his lottery offers. Thankfully, I’d only said my name, no bank stuff. BLOCKED.

I just had a call where they asked me to pick winning numbers and already knew my address, birthday, phone number, email and full name. They kept going on about 10 free lottery syndicate tickets. Then they asked which bank or building society I’d want the winnings sent to, so I just ended the call. It’s really worrying how much personal info these lot have. Best to just block and forget it!

Got a call from an Indian woman named Pauline Morgan claiming I’d won a £500 Tesco voucher through some competition. Told her I hadn’t entered anything like that. She said it must've been from a phone survey, which I denied too. Then she asked if I wanted the voucher or not, ha! I just ended the call.

Picked up the call after hearing about the scams going around. To my surprise, a woman with a South African accent (I reckon) told me I’d taken part in a survey and won 75 free Euromillions lines. I told her I was already looking into how this number is tied to a scam and wasn’t about to be tricked. Pretty annoyed that some company has gone and sold my info like that. I was curious how much they already knew - they seemed to have it all except my bank info!

Totally dodgy lottery scam. They said I’m one of 150 lucky winners and have 10 free draws. Had my name, address, and email which was spooky. Asked for my bank’s sort code to set up a direct debit from Jan 15th! When I was suspicious and asked questions, they put me through to some “security” bloke to convince me it wasn’t a scam!! They seemed really genuine and pushy. In the end, I just hung up ‘cause they couldn’t tell me what draw I supposedly entered. I didn't enter anything like that!
