I got a call from someone saying they were 'Kimberley' from the European Timeshare Database, saying they were updating info due to Brexit. When I asked them to take me off their list, they just said "No". Then when I wanted to speak to their GDPR compliance officer, they refused again and then just ended the call.

got another call about some timeshare thing from CLC so ive just blocked the number now. problem is blocking doesnt seem to take me off their list, they probably just pass my info to another team who call from a different number :( feels like i’ll end up getting contacted again before long.

This number is from "Voxbone SA Ltd," a telecom company that looks like it mainly deals with giving overseas clients numbers so they can make low-cost calls online, pretending they're calling from the UK. It would be great if Offcom could stop this kind of trickery, but they seem fine with licensing these companies and letting all the nuisance calls keep coming.

Guy said he was from some timeshare claims firm trying to update their records. I told him the claim’s sorted already, even tho CLC is in admin cause of Brexit and Covid. I’ve blocked the number on my phone now.

I’m proper annoyed with this number, it rings up like 3 times every day. They never leave a voicemail, so I ended up switching my answerphone off. I’ve heard that if they manage to get an answer, even just an answerphone, it counts as a success for them. Honestly, I’m fuming about how many calls I get in just one day!

There was this number from London that came through claiming to be 'Neil' in the initial call. My husband immediately asked, "Are you the Neil who rang earlier this week about a timeshare?" Neil wouldn’t admit it and even chuckled when my husband told him he’s a bit slow and should eat some sage and onion and stick to the instructions on the pack! This isn’t the only call like this either, we've had loads this week, all from different numbers but clearly with the same dodgy intentions.

This number, said to be from London, rang our landline just as I happened to walk past the phone. I can't really tell what the call was about, but if it was that timeshare scam mentioned earlier, it’s just one of a few we've had this week. One even got through my Automatic Call Blocker by pretending to be a known caller, which is awful. The annoying thing is they never mention the company they're calling for, just give a random name, probably trying to trick you into thinking it's someone you know so you'll pick up.

The guy said his name was Barry, but I've no clue who that is or what he wanted since his message was barely a message at all.
