So, Lotto Social kinda tries to get your bank info bit by bit. When I asked them about it, they claimed they only use card info, not bank details. I might have to inform my mortgage provider about this.

Oh great, another one of those lotto social calls! I usually just hum along and throw in the odd "Oh really?", "Hmm, I see", and "Yeah, sure" here and there to keep them going. After about 20 to 30 minutes of this, I tell them I’m not interested and put the phone down. That’s my go-to with most of these unwanted calls. Afterwards, I make sure to BLOCK them.

Got a call from someone telling me I’d won 10 free lottery tickets after entering some kind of contest. Then they quickly tried to pitch me joining a syndicate, saying I’d play 75 lines a week for just 13p a line. Seemed really dodgy. When I asked if they wanted money upfront, surprise surprise, they said yes. Total scam, don’t bother answering calls like this.
