Got a couple of missed calls earlier, no voicemail left. I checked the number and the info matches up. I’m in the middle of moving and had a few dodgy emails from Tili pop up. Was a bit confused about where they came from but looking up the number cleared it up. Some muppet trying to scam me, and I had already told them I’m not interested in any sales calls during the move.

Got a call at 4:30 from someone claiming to be my letting agency. They tried to get me to set up a direct debit straight away. When I picked up, I could hear the woman on the phone and another girl giggling, and then they burst out laughing halfway through the call. Felt really dodgy, wouldn’t trust those at all.

Tili company kept trying to get us to change our utility provider. I called the letting agent and they said it sounded like a scam, so we ended up blocking the number. Still, they kept ringing my flatmate loads of times and sent him tons of texts. I checked some reviews online and this number looks dodgy. Definitely a risky one.

Got a missed call and called back, it was Tili checking in with a friendly follow-up. They also helped me sort out some problems with my energy provider since I moved recently, which was really useful.

They’ve rung me close to 8 times over the past three months, I’ve declined every single call and they still haven’t left a message.

What a scam! They pretend to be this helpful company, Spark Energy, but they've been named the worst energy supplier more times than I can count. Honestly, it feels dodgy. Apparently, they have some deal with letting agents to share your info right when you sign up for a place. Seems harmless at first, but then they act like they’re your chosen provider when they aren’t at all. They use lines like “just ringing to sort out the details,” but really you’re free to pick whoever you want. Honestly, I’d recommend picking someone else.

Looks like this is Tili, judging by the comments. They have a really dodgy method where they ring your phone once and hope you ring them back! I tried once, but they kept me hanging for ages before anyone picked up, so I just gave up. Plus, even the automated system that eventually put me through to an 'agent' never said who they were working for! With that sort of tactic, I’m not about to use their service, even though I’m actually moving soon.
