Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, saying there’s some offer going on and they wanted my email. I told them I’m too young and that my mum handles our EE stuff. Then they tried asking for her number and email but I refused. They told me to call them back afterwards.

Got a call showing a London number, thought it might be spam. The person on the line claimed to be from Tesco Mobile and said I had to swap my SIM card in a week. It definitely sounded like an Indian call centre. They asked for my email, supposedly for “security.” I just told them to send an email and buzz off.

Every few days, I get these annoying calls, and I just block them without picking up. But then, the very next day, another call comes through from a number that's super similar to the one I just blocked! Honestly, my blocked list is way longer than my contact list now. I never pick up if I don’t know the number, especially when my phone flags it as sketchy!

Got a call from someone saying they're from EE about new contracts. They were really rude and seemed like a total scam. Told them I wasn’t interested but the number keeps ringing back non stop. Feels like they’re trying to get hold of my personal info or bank details. Definitely dodgy stuff going on.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from EE. Since I used to work there and have a standing discount, I know they wouldn’t ring me up to sell stuff. I told her, “You’re not with EE, you’re fibbing.” She insisted, “No, I’m not,” then abruptly ended the call. Such a pointless bother - another one to pop straight into my blocked contacts, probably just looking to steal my info.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was ringing from EE, offering me half price on a phone contract. Thing is, I’m not even an EE customer. She asked for my email to send some code. When I called her out for being a scammer, she started saying I’d go to hell and then just hung up on me. Whenever I get calls from numbers I don’t know, I just let them ring out. Afterwards, I look them up on your site. Had one earlier today and decided to see where it was from, turns out the company’s offices were shut! So, I’ve blocked that number. I’ll be doing the same with this one too. These calls are such a pain.

Got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent, claiming she was from EE network. Since I wasn’t expecting anyone, I just hung up straight away. Later, I looked up the number on “who called me” and I’m so glad I didn’t continue the chat. These types of calls often start with questions like “how’s your day going?” to make you feel comfortable and keep you talking. Total scam!
