So I got a call from a bloke claiming he was ringing from RSU, something like Repair Service UK, offering to renew the maintenance deal for my washing machine. Thing is, I never had any contract with them in the first place. He went on about the warranty period ending, but when I asked how old my machine was, he said 4 years, which is way off since mine’s over a decade old. I told him I wasn’t interested in renewing, and he insisted it wouldn’t be covered anymore. I just told him that’s alright by me. Honestly, sounded like a total con to me.
