Got a call today from someone claiming to be from Sky, saying they had some deals. I told her I wasn’t interested, and she asked why not. I said if I wanted an offer, I’d call Sky myself or check online. Then she just hung up on me. After that, she kept ringing back. I decided to look up the number on Google - been scammed before by people pretending to be from O2. I know for a fact they don’t call out with offers. When will these scammers get a proper life and stop trying to cheat people out of their cash? So frustrating! 😡

I got a phone call from someone saying they were with Sky, pushing me to upgrade my package and buy a better product. The lady spoke with a strong South Indian accent. When I told her I wasn’t interested in upgrading, she started swearing at me. I told her I was recording the call because I suspected a scam, and then she just hung up.

I got a call from this number and the person on the other end had a thick Indian accent. They said they were ringing from EE and had an amazing deal, but I just ended the call straight away.

Got a friendly bloke from O2 on the line telling me my account was compromised and that my personal info, even my bank details, had been tampered with. I ended up chatting with him for a fair while, trying to stall so they couldn't ring up anyone else. Was thankful he gave me the heads up, especially since he said they'd changed my name, address, and bank details, so no more bills would be coming my way. Turns out, just another con artist.

Just like others have said, this was a scam claiming to be from O2. They said someone ordered an iPhone 14 using my details and thought it was suspicious. When I told them I’ve never had an O2 account and asked to be taken off their list, the person actually said, “What? Are you mad?” Totally dodgy.

This number rang me twice before I finally picked up on the third ring. A guy with an Indian accent told me he was Brian Raymond, claiming my O2 account had been compromised and someone was attempting to purchase an iPhone 14. I wasn’t convinced at all and just ended the call. Definitely sounded like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from O2 saying my account was hacked and there was an iPhone order placed - the typical scammy story. What was odd is that every time I told him I knew it was a scam, he just kept going on, but still quite politely.

I got this call from someone saying they're from O2, but they told me my account had been hacked and a new phone was bought. Sounded dodgy to me, like a scam trying to scare me. I never ordered anything, so just watch out for those kinda calls pretending to be your provider!

Got a call from them and told em to remove my number since legally they have to if i ask, but they just said nope and that they’ll keep ringing me anyway.

Got a call from someone saying I needed to provide my email to cancel an order I never made. They kept pushing that if I didn’t share it, I’d be charged on my next bill for an Iphone14 that I never bought. When I asked to talk to their manager, they flat out refused, saying the manager wouldn’t talk to me unless I gave my email first. To top it off, they rang me three times straight! So annoying.

Got a call at about 11 in the morning on Monday the 20th of November from this number. The bloke said he was calling from O2 and claimed my account had been hacked and someone was buying an iPhone 15 using it. Oddly, he couldn’t tell me my name but insisted that whoever accessed my O2 account had switched all the info, like my name and address. He sounded like he was just reading from a script because no matter how many questions I asked, he kept giving the same answers! What's funny is, I don’t even have an O2 account!

Some bloke called saying someone bought an iPhone 14 using my account. I told him yeah, that’s right, which seemed to totally confuse him in some way! He was lost for words. Then I asked if he could do me a favour. He was like, sure. So I told him to go #### himself! After that, I just ended the call straight away!

This number rang me twice, missed both calls, so I decided to return the call. A bloke with an Indian accent told me that my account was hacked and someone was attempting to purchase an iPhone 15. I ended the call immediately, and he rang me back shortly after. I've blocked the number now.

I received a call from a chap with a rather strong Indian accent. He said he was representing O2 and promised some sort of reward for my loyalty, mentioning a whopping 40% off my contract. I must say, it all seems a bit dodgy to me.
