Doesn’t really annoy me though since I never pick up, but it’s kinda funny knowing one of their relentless telemarketers gets stuck listening to that dreadful hold tune for a while :D

Got a call from Synergy, they said they needed to speak with the director about Risk Management. When I asked for specifics, the caller was pretty evasive and said the director was involved, but I found that hard to believe since the director usually wouldn’t handle that. Then they said they’d already spoken to the director before, which was definitely not true. Before I could call them out on it, they ended the call. Whether or not the business is legit, this approach seemed very dodgy to me.

Synergy are at it again. They claimed they were in talks with our finance director, which is totally untrue. The only chat they've had is with our accounts team, who keep telling them to buzz off. They just don’t get the message, what a load of rubbish.

One thing I’ve noticed with these spam calls is they only give you a single ring, then hang up as soon as you even glance at your phone. Maybe the BT ring sound kind of signals “no messing about” or something to discourage them.
