After that, you get a message like, "We’ll get back to you when someone’s free." I’m actually looking forward to see how long I can keep them hanging. Ready to mess around with their time for a bit!

I usually don't pick up calls from unknown numbers but I did this time. I asked the lady a few times to tell me which company she was calling for, but she spoke so quickly it was impossible to catch. What I did catch was that she was trying to get me to answer some questions. I told her no and then ended the call straight away.

I rang the number back and got some automated voice saying, if I wanna opt out leave my name, number and postcode. Like, opt out of what exactly? And why do they want my name and postcode? I've worked in marketing before and all you really need to take someone off a list is their phone number. Feels a bit sketchy to me!

this harnessing firm keeps ringing me from different numbers. i block one, they ring a few times, then switch to another one. i block again, same pattern, different number. got like 25 numbers blocked now. just a matter of a day or two and they’re back calling from somewhere else. block and repeat cycle never ends.
