Thankfully, I managed to terminate the call just in the nick of time before I inadvertently shared my EventViewer password with him. What a close call!

I encountered a deceitful individual posing as a representative from TomTom, who requested funds to fix the drive for a TomTom update. This scammer managed to gain remote access to my computer and then fabricated a series of apparent drive failures. It was a rather ingenious trick, but luckily I wasn’t fooled!
