7 monthsThis guy Harrison rang our office wanting to chat about foreign exchange, but our reception quickly brushed him aside. Then, strangely, he somehow got hold of my personal mobile number and tried calling me there - no clue how he found it out. Luckily, I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, so he never got through. Now he’s followed up with an email too, so persistent is putting it lightly. I’ve blocked his number everywhere and I’m about to send him a pretty straightforward reply to put an end to it.Harrison2 yearsI've gotta say, my experience with Harrison and the Clear Cap crew was pretty great. Not only did they help us cut costs on our foreign exchange stuff, but they also put us in touch with a commercial finance broker who's been a big help. Seriously, give them a chance, folks!HarrisonClear Cap2 yearsGot a call from some bloke called ‘Harrison’ who started rambling on about helping us with international payments. He was really good at keeping me on the line without hanging up, but I eventually cut him off. Proper irritating.Harrison2 yearsGot a call from someone who wouldn’t give their company’s name, just said his name was “Harrison.” He wanted to speak to the Director about some payments. Definitely not answering any more calls from this number.HarrisonDirector2 yearsHe claimed he had "only just found our company," even though he’d rung before and I’d already said no thank you (according to this website!). Seems a bit shady, honestly - wouldn't feel comfortable with them handling anything like forex or investment money.2 yearsGot a call from someone asking for the director, said they were only looking at our website and weren’t trying to sell anything. Told them no one here matches that name, and then the caller, quite daftly, just blurts out the full name anyway… as if that would suddenly make the person show up! When I repeated the no, they hung up sharpish. Could hear a load of chatting in the background, definitely sounded like a call centre!3 yearsI keep getting calls every day from different firms pretending to offer currency or foreign exchange accounts. Today, someone rang asking to speak to the finance director. Looks dodgy, avoid them! https://www.clearcapital-ex.com/3 yearsGot a call from someone looking for the director - but that bloke retired over a year ago. They kept pushing to speak to the new Finance Director, but I told them he never picks up cold calls. They seemed pretty annoyed after that.3 yearsThose Forex folks from CCE are proper scammers. They’ve got a right dodgy way of doing things. Luckily, my mate at work handled it and managed to get some info. They kept dodging the question about where they got my number, kept saying they don’t use lists or anything. Told them to stop ringing me, and I won’t be picking up again. What a pain!4 yearsI got a call from this guy Nial at CCE Clear Cap Exchange, said they handle overseas payments. He wanted to speak to the director by name, I asked which director, he claimed he’d been in touch before, but the director’s not even with our company. I told him to take our info off their system, but he got quite nasty about it. I reminded him that under GDPR he has to delete our number, then when he pressed for director’s details, I told him we can't share personal data because of data protection laws and to stop calling us again.NialCCE Clear Cap Exchange4 yearsI received a dodgy phone call from someone trying to fish for my banking information.
