I just received an unwanted phone call from someone alleging that I've signed up to "make some extra cash," which is utterly untrue. They were incredibly insistent, rather impolite, and it was obvious they were reading from the same script as two other callers who rang me yesterday, albeit with slightly varied phone numbers. Quite the nuisance!

I strongly suspect this is a dodgy call. The person on the other end was fishing for someone else’s name, just like their so-called "team members." I've been plagued by these calls for over a year now. They assert that I signed up with them to dabble in cryptocurrency, which is utterly fabricated. I explained that it wasn’t me and I have no interest in trading at all, but it seems I ruffled a few feathers in the process. Isn’t it amusing how so-called professional salespeople can become quite irate when they fail to convince potential clients to part with their cash?
