Got a ring from someone claiming to be from the ‘O2 Promotions Team’ trying to give me a 6-month discount for being a loyal customer. I didn’t trust it since he didn’t follow proper GDPR procedures, plus I only just renewed my contract late last year. He also failed to mention the call was recorded. I told him I’d rather phone O2 directly to check the deal and ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I've been inundated with calls from a company purporting to be Quran Academy. They seem to have a whole arsenal of different numbers from which they ring me, and despite repeatedly requesting to be removed from their call list, they simply won’t take the hint. I've had to block each number, but it’s honestly becoming rather maddening!

I received a rather unsettling phone call today. The caller's command of English was quite lacking, and they were inquiring about children, which felt rather inappropriate.

This number kept calling me 4 times back-to-back. I hung up every single time since I’ve seen them call before. I don’t recognise anyone with an 0203 code so I just never pick up. Eventually, they stopped ringing. Blocked the number now.

I haven't the faintest clue what the purpose of that call was, but the moment I caught wind of something about insurance, I swiftly terminated the conversation. Then, lo and behold, the chap rang me back an astonishing 25 times on the trot! Each time, I simply hung up immediately. Eventually, I opted to answer but just let the phone sit there while he kept yelling, "Hello? Hello?" until he finally gave up and ended the call, only to ring again. It's a bit of a laugh, really. After a relentless 40 attempts, he threw in the towel. Gotta hand it to him for his determination though! 10 out of 10!

I really had no clue what that call was about, but once I caught the word insurance, I just ended the call straight away. Then, this bloke rang me back like 25 times in a row, and each time I just cut him off immediately. After that, whenever he rang again, I’d pick up but just put the phone down quietly while he kept saying “hello, hello,” then he’d hang up and try again. I figured I could mess about like that too, and after about 40 calls, he finally gave up. Gotta admit, I was impressed with his persistence!

Got a call again about some accident I supposedly had and compensation I’m yet to receive, typical scam stuff. He was pretty pushy, asked if I’m waiting for my payout. Told him I’m reporting his number to OFCOM, hope he doesn’t ring again!
