Got a robo call saying my internet was going to get cut off within 24 hours. I pressed 1 and got connected to someone at a call centre, who told me there was an issue with my account and my broadband would be stopped. Total scam!

Someone rang saying they were from BT and then got me talking to a "senior technician" who just repeated what the first caller said. They told me there were some error messages from my internet, and if I used my computer, they could fix it for me. Their English was pretty poor and hard to get.

Got a dodgy call pretending to be from BT about my wifi being hacked. As soon as I mentioned I’d just been chatting with BT earlier, he just ended the call!

She claimed to be with BT’s call blocking support and asked if I was still getting annoying calls. She went on about how they're working hard to fix the problem but need more time. When I asked what company she was actually with, she just ended the call. She spoke good English, had an accent, and seemed legit at first, but when she asked for my card info, I knew something was off. Best not to pick up!

Got loads of calls from people pretending they’re from a lottery. They rang me 4 times in just 2 hours! I had to tell them to take me off their list or else I'd notify Ofcom about the constant bothering.

It’s a new number every time but the same lottery fraudsters behind it. They ring me loads throughout the day, just swapping the final three digits each time. I gave my number to freestuff.eu when I joined a contest and I’m pretty sure that’s where they got it from. Proper fed up with that site for selling my info to these dodgy people.

Got called 3 times today, only picked up the last one after checking here. Seems my number got passed round after I entered some Asda voucher competition on Facebook. The person on the phone said because I entered, I’d get 10 free lottery entries. I told them my number’s on the TPS and if they didn’t take it off their list, I’d report them. This just reminds me how bad it is to hand out your info or enter contests - they just keep sharing your details everywhere.

After they rang me for the third time today, I decided to pick up. It was some company called Lottery Direct or something like that. The woman already knew my name, but I didn’t confirm if it was right. When I told her I never play the lottery, she just said goodbye and hung up. Seems like a total scam. Best to block and report them.

they rang me 4 times back to back and when I answered they said I’d won a place in a lottery and was close to getting an iPhone. Then they started asking for my info, and I got through all their security questions. After that, they wanted my bank details, so I just hung up and blocked the number. got a phone call claiming i’d won a prize from a lottery syndicate for an iphone 7. i told them i thought it was fishy and asked where they were ringing from. they said south africa but the number came through a london office on regent street. i told them it was dodgy to show a uk number if they were abroad. then they put me through to a manager who switched it up, saying calls come from liverpool. turns out the number was actually from glasgow. no doubt at all, total scam.
